FOOTBALL SECRETARY VACANCY
Newport County AFC is seeking a Football Secretary who will be responsible for the Club's 'Football Administration'. The successful candidate will manage and facilitate the registration, transfer and re-engagement of all player. They will also be responsible for the management of all fixtures, oversee disciplinary matters involving the first team, maintain the efficiency of all the football administration matters and ensure compliance for the Football Club with all governing body rules and regulations (i.e. Football League, FAW, The FA, UEFA and FIFA).
Ideally the successful candidate should have some experience within a similar environment and be conversant with the duties involved. Current knowledge and/or good understanding of the rules and regulations that apply to Newport County AFC (i.e. FIFA, UEFA, FAW, The FA and The Football League) is essential. It would be highly desirable to have media skills and experience, but not essential.
