Collins signs pro & three squad numbers are added
Youngster Aaron Collins signed professional terms with the club on Saturday afternoon following a good start to the season in the Football League Youth Alliance. The deal will see Aaron through until the end of the 2014/15 season. Collins will wear the number 39 shirt for County.To add to the good news for the Academy this week, Scholars Tom Owen-Evans and Regan Poole have been handed the number 22 and 26 shirts respectively for the season.
Development coach Michael Flynn commented "this just goes to show what we have been working hard to achieve in the academy is working and the players are developing, the gaffa (Justin Edinburgh) has given these boys the opportunity to train and now with the squad numbers this just goes to show that he (Justin Edinburgh) is willing to give youth a chance. For me personally it's a proud moment and we need to keep developing players to be in and around the first team."
