County take League One Swindon Town all the way to a penalty shootout...

The visitors didn't have to wait long for their next chance on goal, when Drissa Traore played the ball square to Anton Rodgers, who fired the ball into the top corner from all of twenty-five yards.

The first half concluded with either teams able to establish any clear-cut opportunities to add to the scoring.

Early in the second half Alex Rodman was forced to off with an injury and was replaced by youngster Aaron Collins.

The change inspired County to establish more attacking set-up and create more chances going forward, dropping to three at the back.

The tactical change came into fruition in the seventy minute, when neat play on the right touchline by Seth Nana Twumasi allowed him to slot a pass through to Aaron Collins, who placed the ball home.

The eqauliser meant that the drama of the day's transfer activity was added to with a penalty shootout, to decide the winner of the tie.

Both teams successfully managed to dispatch six penalties, until goal-scorer Aaron Collins saw his penalty saved, allowing Will Randall to fire home the winning penalty for the visitors.
