Newport County AFC announce new sponsor

Newport County AFC are thrilled to announce a new Club sponsorship deal with Mr. Tom Peanut Crunch. In what is an exciting deal, the new main sponsors for the 2014-15 season will champion a more pro-active relationship with the fans and supporters.

The initial one year agreement with Mr. Tom marks yet another record for the Club, surpassing last season’s record breaking deal with 32Red.

Mr. Tom has been in the UK market for decades providing the insanely moreish peanut crunch bar to a growing fan base. Operating out of Newport and enjoying years of success, they decided to prove just how nuts about the County they are by investing and giving something back.

County Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:

“We are delighted to have secured another high profile brand on our shirts, that also has Newport connections. It is an excellent deal for the Club and a measure of how far we have come that we are able to attract such a lucrative deal with another international company. We look forward to working with Mr. Tom who will be active and innovative sponsors and I am sure our supporters will enjoy some of the initiatives they are proposing”

Richard Williams, Mr. Tom UK Director said:

“These are exciting times and a fantastic opportunity to not only spread the word but get involved in County’s future. This isn’t just a financial investment; we see this as building relationships, hopefully spanning many seasons. We want to be the best sponsor the club has ever had and those who make it what it is will get something back, something that they deserve and will love. To celebrate the new kit launch, we are giving away a full home and away strip, just go to www.nutsaboutthecounty.co.uk to register”

Newport County also confirm that they have renewed their agreement with Sytner Newport for season 2014 – 15 as the Club’s Official Automotive partner that will continue to see their names on the back of the shirts and shorts. Dave Boddy added:

“This is another excellent and improved deal for the Club. Sytner Newport have been brilliant supporters of the Club this season and the relationship between us continues to blossom. We are extremely grateful for their continued support”

Stephen Moore, Sytner Newport Brand manager said:

“We are extremely proud to continue our sponsorship and support of Newport County for a 4th year running and would like to thank all the fans and supporters for their continued support of Sytner BMW & MINI Newport, we look forward to our continued relationship into the 2014-15 season”

The new replica shirts are expected to be in stock in the Club Shop in late May, but you can be the first to own one, go to www.nutsaboutthecounty.co.uk for more details.
