County’s Emirates FA Cup tie will be broadcast live on S4C….
Newport County AFC can today confirm that the rearranged date for our Emirates FA Cup third round tie against Blackburn Rovers will be Monday 18th January, kick-off 7.15pm.
The Monday evening fixture will be broadcast live by Welsh language station S4C.
Each Club will receive a fee from the FA of £48,000 to facilitate this broadcast.
Saturday’s game between the two sides was postponed at 2pm by referee Charles Breakspear, who deemed the pitch at Rodney Parade unplayable after a late deluge of rain just an hour before kick off.
Tickets bought for the original fixture will remain valid for the rearranged date. Should you be unable to make the rearranged tie, the last opportunity for refunds will be Friday 15th January 2016.
50/50 tickets sold on the original date will be entered into the draw that will take place on the evening of the rearranged tie.
The Ticket Office will be open between the hours of 10am-3pm this week, with extended opening hours until 7pm on Friday, for any ticketing queries.
