Former Arsenal trainee Paul is a tenacious defensive player comfortable at both centre-half and full-back. He joined the Gunners in 2005 aged 15 and was rewarded with a professional contract two years later in 2007. He made his full competitive debut for the North London giants in a League Cup tie away at Burnley, in December 2008. In the summer of 2009, Paul signed for Northampton Town after previously enjoying an extended loan spell at Sixfields and went on to make 67 appearances before arriving at Newport County this summer. This versatile defender has also been capped by England at both U16 and U17 levels.
