Glyn signed for County from Hereford United in July 2007 and he has been a huge success in his first three seasons, establishing himself as one of most consistent keepers in non league football. He started his career at Shrewsbury Town, for whom he has played in three spells, and he was signed by Fulham for a substantial fee in November 1999. However he did not get a first team chance at Craven Cottage though he has also played for Mansfield Town, Northampton Town and Chesterfield, making a total of 37 Football League appearances, and he had a spell playing in Denmark. He was ever-present last season and was chosen for the Conference South Select eleven.
