A quantity surveyor by trade and nicknamed “The Tank,” industrious midfielder Lee arrived at Spytty Park on loan during the January transfer window, courtesy of AFC Wimbledon. An integral part of the Dons side that won promotion to the Football League last season, Lee began his senior career with Ramsgate in 2004 and experienced a brief loan spell with Deal Town; before moving to Tonbridge Angels in 2009. It was whilst with the Angels that Lee came to Wimbledon’s attention; scoring 17 times in 40 appearances during their promotion season to Conference South; finishing as the team’s second top scorer. A move to Kingsmeadow duly followed in the summer of 2010 and following the club’s elevation to League status, Lee made his Football League debut on the opening day of this season during a 2-3 loss to Bristol Rovers.
