Josh Seberry joined the Exiles from Irish Premier League side Shelbourne FC in July 2023. Seberry had excelled in sports as a youngster in Ireland, being an accomplished swimmer and track and field athlete.
His talent for football became clear when he started competing for the local side, Drogheda Boys Under-13s. He progressed through the ranks at Weavers Park, signing his first deal with the club in 2022.
Seberry would then complete a move to Shelbourne in 2022, where his performances would catch the eye of Graham Coughlan. He signed for Newport in July 2023 following a brief successful trial and made his full debut for the club in our 3-1 EFL Cup victory over Charlton Athletic.
