Supporters Club make donation
Newport County AFC wish to express their gratitude at the generosity shown by the Newport County AFC Supporters Club who have presented the club with a donation of £5,000.00 to help with the running costs of the club.It is the second time this season that the Supporters Club have made such a donation having presented a cheque for £5,000.00 to County Chairman Les Scadding and Director Howard Greenhaf prior to the Morecambe game in September and this is hugely appreciated by everybody connected with Newport County AFC.

'On behalf of the Football Club I would like to offer our sincere thanks to the Supporters Club and all it’s members for this tremendous contribution. It has been well documented by myself that the Club’s cashflow has been severely affected by the recent spate of postponements and their donation is welcomed, timely and shows the commitment and desire of the Clubs supporters. This donation along with donations from other Supporters groups plays a big part in running the Football Club.'
