Newport County AFC AGM has been moved to 1st June
A new date of 1st June 2015 has been set for the Newport County AFC Shareholders AGM. The meeting was initially scheduled for 20th May, but off the field events including the hiring of Terry Butcher have seen the date pushed back.
Chairman Les Scadding will write to all shareholders shortly with the official AGM notice.
"We're extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused by the change of date" said County Director Jackie Tutton, who went on to explain, "a lot of our time recently has been consumed with the search and appointment of Terry Butcher, and with Les only being back in the country recently we've not been able to prepare and arrange the AGM properly."
"We look forward to seeing as many of our shareholders as possible on the 1st June, and thank them for their understanding of this date change."
