PLACES STILL AVAILABLE ON COLLEGE PROGRAMME

Our Community team have places available for this year's College Programme.

The players will study at Llanwern High School and train and play Football & Futsal representing Newport County AFC against other professional clubs.

The programme is suitable for boys of all playing abilities and has access to work experience through volunteering with County in the Community.

The course is equivalent to three A-Levels, with 12 hours of education per week, 6 hours of coaching per week and 19 units relating to physical education ranging from anatomy and physiology to sport as a business. Students are primarily assessed through weekly coursework with training sessions delivered by UEFA qualified coaches.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of five A*-C’s at GCSE, including English and maths

EXIT ROUTES
Pupils can go on to study at University or a Foundation Degree with County in the Community. Previous pupils have gone on to American Scholarships and there is also coaching opportunities within the Club's Development Centre & Academy

COST
Free of charge for all students, with the exception of purchasing a compulsory kit which will cost £225.
