Defender Ben White made his Exiles debut in the Carabao Cup victory at Southend, playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 victory.

On his debut performance…
“It couldn’t have gone any better really. Everyone came together and did really well, the substitutes made a really good impact.
“Clean sheet and two goals against a good team, perfect way to start really and hopefully we can keep that going for Saturday.”
On settling at the club…
“There’s a few younger players in the squad which helps but they all made it so easy for me.
“They are all such a nice bunch of lads that’s it’s been really easy for me to settle in this team.”
On playing in-front of the County fans…
“It’s really good. The first time for me to play in-front of fans that watch week-in, week out so it’s really nice - I enjoyed it.”
