The Antigua and Barbuda international joined Newport County AFC on in the Summer of 2017 following a successful trial period at the Club.

Calaum moved around from England, Jamaica and Antigua as a youngster before his family settled in England when he was 11.  Determined to be a footballer from a young age, Calaum joined FootballCV whilst attending numberous trial days across the country.  He was eventually given a chance at Boreham Wood FC.

After impressing both there and Dulwich Hamlet, he was picked up by Hull City FC and made a couple of appearances for the then Championship team before heading out on loan to Alloa Athletic and Tranmere Rovers.

He was let go by Hull at the end of the 2016 Season and joined Oldham Athletic.

In 2017, he joined the Exiles on a trial period and after showing a fantastic attitude around the Club, manager Michael Flynn signed the players as a left back and winger.

DID YOU KNOW: Calaum spent most of his career playing upfront before switching to left back on the advice of a number of his coaches.
