The face of Regan Poole is that of a familiar one to County fans...

Poole was a member of the Cardiff City academy before he made the switch to Newport County AFC as a scholar in June 2014. He soon broke into the senior first team and made his debut on the 20th of September 2014 when he was named in the starting line-up for a league Two match against Shrewsbury town. In February of 2015, he was shortlisted for the Football League Apprentice of the Year award.

On September 1st 2015, Poole joined Premier League Club Manchester United on a permanent transfer, he would then go on to make his debut against Midtjylland in a second leg Europa League tie as a substitute on for Ander Herrera.

On July 7th 2017, Poole went on a season long loan to League One side Northampton town, reuniting with Justin Edinburgh, who gave Poole his Debut at Newport County three years prior. 

Poole has featured regularly in the Manchester United Reserve team during the first half of the 2018-19 season, then a deal was made for Poole to return to Newport County AFC back on loan for the remainder of the season. 

Poole has featured commonly for the Welsh international set up, making appearances for the under-17s all the way through to under-21s - where he has been named Captain on multiple occasions.
