On matchday, our new County SLO Twitter account will be your first point of call for informtation. We will be providing relevant and timely updates on everything from tickets, weather, and travel to the ground.
What is the SLO role?
The SLO's job is to bridge the gap between the Club and its supporters through two-way communication which involves informing supporters about decisions made by the Club and informing the Club about the supporter's point of view.
The SLO will also work with security and police as well as the SLOs of other clubs to ensure that relevant knowledge is spread to all relevant parties attending the match.
Our Aim for 2018/19
With the new Twitter Account and email address, the Club hope to provide a better, more engaging experience for all supporters travelling to Rodney Parade. We will also offer support and updates, travel information and more for Newport County AFC supporters who are travelling to away matches.
Over the past season and a half, big steps have been taken to improve the matchday experience at Rodney Parade for all supporters. Over the next season, our aim is to keep improving at the same rate. We will continue to introduce new match day activities, half time entertainment, and increase matchday fan engagement.
