Mr Toms Nuts will be giving FREE bars to all fans attending the Newport County AFC v Burton Albion FC game today.Pick up your FREE Mr Toms bar from just inside the gates at Rodney Parade upon arrival.
This further adds to the afternoon of celebrations ahead of the final home game before the NATO Summit, where a special request has been made by the Government for this game to be used as Host City Celebrations.
The day will see a host of dignitaries visit Rodney Parade on Saturday afternoon including the Secretary of State for Wales, the Lord Lieutenant for Gwent, the Mayor & Mayoress of Newport, Leader of Newport City Council and Commander 160 Brigade.
The day will include a host of free fun sporting and Footballing activities lead by the County in the Community team on the cabbage patch outside of Rodney Parade, before the game and also a visit from the Melin Homes Fun bus. So there will be plenty for the youngsters to do. A marching band from 160 Brigade will perform before the match and during half time. The highlight of the pre-match entertainment will be the Red Devils parachute team dropping onto the Rodney Parade pitch at 2-45pm with the match ball.
