Looking at the home side

 place in the Sky Bet League 2 table, only outside of the automatic promotion places on goal difference to Portsmouth. Having won half of their games this season they come into this weekend’s fixture against the Exiles on the back of their first round F.A Cup win over York City. Stanley also have no problem finding the net with top scorer Josh Windass having netted eight times in the league so far this season, and added to his tally in the game against York last weekend. Getting There

By car: Leave the M65 at Junction 7, taking the Clitheroe turn off the roundabout. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights opposite Clayton Business Park, following the A678. Follow the road over the canal bridge to the next set of traffic lights. Turn right again going over the motorway bridge and towards Accrington on the A680. Carry straight on at the next set of lights with the Greyhound pub on your right. Follow the road as it bends to the right and then take the first left after the Crown pub into Livingstone Road.

 


By train: The train will take around four and a half hours and involve two changes, firstly at Crewe and then at Preston. The station is approximately a twenty minute walk from the ground. Trains are every hour and for getting to the ground take the 8:04 or 9:03 from Newport which will arrive in Accrington at 12:42 or 13:42 respectively. For leaving Accrington there is a train that leaves at 17:23 arriving in Newport at 21:45 although should there be any delays in the match the next train is at 18:23 arriving at 22:40
