Charity St David’s Hospice continue this season kits launch…
Local charity St David's Hospice will feature on the back of the home shirts, after the Board of Directors felt that as part of the Club's ethos as a community club, it could provide a local charity with a unique opportunity of having exposure on our home kits.
Fans were offered the opportunity to vote for the charity of their choice and St David's Hospice was chosen to have their logo on the prominent position on the back of our home kit for the 2016/17 season.
Gemma Carter from St David's Hospice alluded to the benefit of having the St David's logo on our home shirts for the upcoming season.
"I think having our logo on the shirts will be a huge help to us, in allowing the charity to get the logo recognised nationally."
"With the shirts being on display on television and on video games it will help spread the work of the charity to a global audience, which will be a huge benefit to promote the work we do."
Newport County AFC Football & Buisness Development Director, Michael Flynn, added, "By welcoming St David's as a charity partner it symbolises how important the local community is to the Club and we are excited to help support St David's in their charity efforts in and around Newport."
The Official 2016/17 kits will be on sale in the Club Shop towards the end of July. We will keep fans posted on when they can get their hands on this seasons replica shirts.
