Last Meeting
Cambridge made it five games unbeaten against Newport County when they won by a goal to nil in April. Despite the loss the result left County one win away from securing their safety in the football league for another year, something that was secured a few games later.
Last Time Out
Newport dropped to 22nd in the League 2 table after a 2-0 away defeat to Doncaster Rovers.
