Having already played their first game of the season in the Youth Alliance League South - drawing 2-2 at home against Yeovil Town, County’s U18 side face Forest Green Rovers at home.
Coventry City will be looking for promotion straight back to League 1 after relegation from the division last season. Relegation came after only winning nine games all season, with 12 draws and 25 defeats meaning they finished 23rd in the table – 11 points off safety.
However, there was some joy for the Sky Blues last season, as they were crowned EFL Trophy champions in April, beating Oxford United 2-1 in the final at Wembley.
Crewe Alexandra are gearing up for their second season in League 2 following relegation from League 1 in 2015. They will be looking for an improvement on the 17th placed finish last time out, just nine points clear of the drop-zone.
