Newport County AFC Under 18s faced Walsall away from on home on Wednesday afternoon.Starting XI: Jake Keating, Cedrick Mpadi, Justin Davies, Jordan Rathbone, Lewis Bamford, Harry Waterhouse, Nathan Wood, Cory Shephard, Joe Ward, Aaron Collins, Ben Brooks.

Walsall took the lead early in the first half before an equaliser from Nathan Wood leveled the score. The game finished level at 1-1 in the last pre-season game for the Under 18s before the Football League Youth Alliance kicks off on Saturday.
