Former County Players Wanted
Newport County AFC is looking for former first team players of the County to attend an informal meeting on Thursday February 27, 2014 commencing at 7:00pm in the Brecon Lounge in the Clubhouse at Rodney Parade.The premise of the gathering is allow former team mates and colleagues to catch up and also look at the possibility of formalising a group that would attend future Newport County AFC matches as guests of the club.
There is also scope to organise future events within the Community for former players of the County and recognise the efforts made by players whilst wearing the famous Amber shirt.
If you are interested in attending feel free to come along on Thursday at 7:00pm for a chance to reminisce and be part of this exciting future project. The meeting will be hosted by John Relish with current Newport County AFC Community Officer Norman Parselle in attendance along with Chief Executive Dave Boddy and Supporters Club Director Tony Pring.
