NEWPORT COUNTY AFC

With first choice keeper Lenny Pidgeley suffering ankle ligament damage in the recent game against Southend United, Justin Edinburgh moved swiftly to sign Conor Thompson.

Conor, who was previously with Torquay United, has won caps for Northern Ireland at Youth level and the 18 year old will provide back up to Jamie Stephens as Lenny recovers from his injury.
