Pitch Inspection
After severe overnight rain on Thursday and due to the fact that Dagenham & Redbridge are travelling overnight, Newport County AFC took the precaution of calling the Football League this morning. The Football League ordered a preliminary pitch inspection on Friday afternoon by Football League referee Keith Lawson. He reported back to the FL who have instructed the match referee to conduct a pitch inspection at 9am on Saturday morning.
