Newport County AFC Football Secretary on board
Newport County AFC's newest recruit has started their position as Football Secretary & Press Officer. Lewis Richards, who was formerly with the FAW as Player Registrations Manager, believes this is an exciting time to be joining the club:
'Despite it being the 'close season' the office is a hive of activity and everybody is anticipating the Capital One Cup draw and Sky Bet League 2 fixture announcement next week. The release of fixtures and cup draws are always a major part of the football calendar and even though I have just entered the role I can sense there is a good buzz around the place and I am looking forward to working with such a great team on and off the pitch.'
Chief Executive Dave Boddy recognises this is another important signing:
'This is another vital part of developing off the pitch and with Lewis on-board I am confident the club can continue to progress as we prepare for our second season in Sky Bet League 2.'
