Newport County AFC are saddened to hear of the recent passing of Mr Derek Fowle.
Derek was known to many for his involvement with Newport School's and Welsh School's Football Association.He was influential in a number of former players education of the game, including home grown players such as Mike Flynn, Byron Anthony and Lee Evans. Derek was key to the development of football within the city of Newport and will be sadly missed by the footballing community within the city.
