The regional groups for the Johnson Paint Trophy have been decided, before the first-round draw takes place on Saturday.
Newport County AFC have been grouped in the Southern Section - West for Saturday's first-round draw.County missed out on the opportunity of a bye for the first-round and now will face either AFC Wimbledon, Barnet, Exeter City, Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Swindon or Yeovil Town.
The draw will be live at 10.15am on Soccer AM, this Saturday.
First round fixtures will be played on the week commencing the 31st August.
