Youngster Tom Owen-Evans agrees deal to keep him at Rodney Parade.
Tom Owen-Evans has today agreed to sign his first professional contract with Newport County AFC.The 18-year-old made 23 appearances for the U18s this season, as well as being included in the County first team squad on nine occasions. Tom came off the bench during County's final away game of the season against York City and almost scored with his second touch.
Speaking to the Official Newport County Website Owen-Evans said "I am really pleased to have signed my first professional contract with Newport County. I am very much looking forward to starting back again and meeting up with the squad."
The signing of Tom Owen-Evans follows the signing of fellow academy star Kieran Parselle earlier this week.
