PREVIEW: Northampton Town

30 October 2015

Take a detailed look at Saturday's clash with Northampton Town...

Looking at the visitors

Despite problems off the pitch for Northampton Town, on the pitch they have been enjoying a rich run of form. Currently sitting fourth in the table and only outside the automatic promotion places on goal difference, they come into the game on the back of wins over Stevenage and Carlisle. They have been clinical in front of goal with top scorer Marc Richards picking up 6 in the league already this season with Dominic Calvert-Lewin netting five times and Sam Hoskins three. They will be without Lawson D’Ath who is serving the last of his three game suspension for a red card, although the rest of their side will be ready to give John Sheridan’s in form County side a great game on Saturday.

Newport recorded their biggest win of the season as they went away to Bristol Rovers and won by four goals to one.
