Newport County AFC are pleased to confirm that the new away stand has been completed on schedule…

The Club has secured a deal to keep the structure for the remainder of the season, allowing the Club to facilitate more travelling fans and increase the overall attendance of the ground.


We would like to thank Wernick Events for their professional approach while undertaking this project, that was completed during a very narrow timeframe.


, the Club are currently in the process of ensuring that the needs of disabled away supporters are met. The DSA have made a generous contribution which will enable the Club to also provide a fully-covered provision for wheelchair users and companions in the new facility.DSAIn conjunction with the


Chief Executive, Jason Turner, said, “The new stand will allow us to host clubs with traditionally large away support”.


“The pleasing feature of this project was that all work was carried out ahead of schedule and within budget. I would like to thank Wernick Events for allowing this project to be completed in such a slim timeframe and the Club is very much looking forward to welcoming well over one-thousand Portsmouth fans for Saturday’s game”.
