After a defeat on the road against Luton, County return to Rodney Parade hoping to get their season back on track in a first ever competitive meeting between themselves and Crewe Alexandra.

After Jennison Myrie-Williams scored his third goal for the club to level the game in the second half, a second Cameron McGeehan goal deep into stoppage time meant that the Exiles left Luton without adding any points on the board. County picked up six yellow cards in the fixture, with Mark Randall picking up his third in three league games.
