Club sponsors Pure Vans help the DSA with a donation of blankets...
due to the cold weather.on Tuesday nightThe DSA put out an appeal for blankets on social media
This morning David Greenhaf of Pure Vans, who already sponsor Newport County AFC, got in touch with the DSA and said they wished to help.
Pure Vans have acquired twenty fleece blankets and have donated them to the DSA, for use on match days at Rodney Parade.
"We are taken back by this generous offer of help from David and Pure Vans and feel we have gained a new backer for our endeavours as a group. We would publicly like to thank them for this donation which will help our work”, said DSA chairman Colin Faulkner.
“The equally generous individual donations made by everyone else who has responded will be as gratefully received as we would rather have too many blankets than not enough.”
If you accompany or know of anyone who could benefit from a blanket during a game, please tell them to inform a Steward, or contact the DSA directly.
