Newport County AFC are looking for Matchday Volunteers to help the Club provide an excellent Matchday experience for both home and away supporters visiting Rodney Parade.
Every volunteer is entitled to FREE entry to every home match for which they volunteer. We also run a volunteers' away match towards the end of the Season where a free match ticket and free travel is provided to a selected away League Fixture for volunteers who have assisted the Club throughout the Season.
The following Volunteer Roles are currently vacant:
SHOP ASSISTANT
We’re looking for someone to assist with the shop on a matchday. This volunteer will be a friendly face in the Club shop welcoming both home and away fans. This role requires handling payment, assisting with stock, and keeping the shop tidy.
FRONT GATE
We are looking for a Newport County AFC supporter to be a friendly face and a welcoming presence on the front gate. Using a list provided, you will tick off all cars entering and parking in the ground whilst offering a friendly welcome.
HERE TO HELP
We are looking for two Newport County AFC supporters to provide a friendly welcome and provide information to first-time fans and travelling supporters.
HOSPITALITY HOST
The Club is looking for a Volunteer to welcome our VIPs to the Hospitality Lounge. Whether this be Newport County AFC’s directors, travelling directors, key match sponsors, or supporters who have purchased a hospitality tickets, the Hospitality Host will provide a friendly, professional welcome to all.
100 CLUB HOST
The 100 Club Host will be responsible for welcoming all supporters holding a 100 Club Ticket. This role will include: ensuring only 100 Club Ticket-Holders have access to the bar, ensuring every 100 Club Ticket-Holder is given a programme and team sheet, and providing information on navigating the stadium and accessing 100 Club seats.
