Newport County AFC are delighted to announce that James Bittner has signed a one-year deal.
Goalkeeper James Bittner joined the Club in 2016 as a player/coach. He played a big part last season, proving himself to be not just an excellent 'keeper but a key part of the coaching staff too.
Manager Michael Flynn said: “I’m very pleased James [Bittner] is staying with us. He has a close relationship with Joe [Day] and we see them as a good partnership. James fits in well with myself, Wayne and Lennie and is another good pair of eyes on the touchline.”
James Bittner said: “After an unbelievable finish to last season, when I think we showed to everyone what we are capable of, I am delighted to have re-signed for the Club for what I hope will be an exciting season."
