Newport County AFC this evening thanked its loyal supporters who made the 448 mile trip to Morecambe FC by giving away 50 away shirts to the travelling fans. The gesture of goodwill by the Club recognises the supporters who have not only made the long midweek trip to the north-east, but many of whom also travelled to Crewe on Saturday covering 740 miles in the past few days.
Supporters will have less miles to travel next week when the Exiles face Blackpool at home on Saturday followed by Luton Town at home on Tuesday. Tickets for both matches can be purchased in person from the Ticket Office between 10am-3pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and online at www.newportcountytickets.co.uk.
