Newport County AFC were delighted to welcome two of the Welsh Commonwealth Games heroes to our match on Satur
We were joined by Jon Mould and Sam Harrison from the Welsh Commonwealth Cycling Team for a lap of honour and a chat in the We Fight Any Claim Marquee with Newport City Radio. They also enjoyed watching a great win from the Directors Box.
Jon Mould is from Newport and won Silver in the Roadrace at the Gold Coast. He also took part in the Track Cycling with 2 top ten finishes in his events.
Sam Harrison is from Cross Keys and finished 4th in the 4km Team Pursuit and 10th in the Individual event. He also competed alongside John in the 40k Scratch race.
Congratulations to both Sam and Jon for
representing Team Wales so brilliantly on the Gold Coast.
