Ethan Foster has been named Newport County AFC Club Secretary following the departure of CEO and Club Secretary Alex Tunbridge earlier this month.
Ethan has worked for the Club in the role of Head of Operations for nine months including overseeing the Emirates FA Cup matches vs Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur. Ethan will take on the Club Secretary duties alongside his existing role.
On being appointed Club Secretary, Ethan said: “I’m very pleased to be taking on the role of Club Secretary at Newport County AFC. This is a natural progression for me having been the lead on operations since October. I look forward to the new challenge and working with the First Team Manager, Michael Flynn.”
Director Mike Everett added: “Ethan worked closely with Alex [former CEO Alex Tunbridge] supporting him on football administration last season and will now take on full responsibility for these matters as Club Secretary. Ethan has built up significant knowledge and experience in the area of football administration and organisation and this will stand him in good stead as he takes on this responsibility."
