The Board of Directors of Newport County AFC would like to firstly congratulate Tranmere Rovers on winning yesterday's Sky Bet League Two Play Off Final.
They would also like to thank Manager Michael Flynn, his staff and of course the players for an absolutely superb campaign that led us to Wembley.
The Emirates FA Cup run was excellent and for the second consecutive season the team have put not only the Club, but the city on the map.
It’s truly been a great season and our Supporters have turned out in their thousands all over the the country and have been the 12th man throughout. They have been fantastic and should be proud of the part they have played.
Whilst yesterday did not end in the manner we wanted the season has still been a very successful one.
