Newport County AFC will contest an all League Two tie in the Emirates FA Cup First Round after being drawn away to Grimsby Town in tonight's live draw.
The match at Blundell Park is scheduled to take place between Friday, November 8th and Monday, November 11th with the winning side collecting £36,000 from The FA prize fund. The exact date, fixture time and ticket details will be released in due course once the television games have been chosen.
The two sides are yet to meet in League Two this season.
Last season the Exiles reached the Fifth Round of the competition for the first time since 1949 by beating Met Police FC, Wrexham AFC, 2016 Premier League Champions Leicester City and Championship outfit Middlesbrough. County went the furthest of any League Two side before suffering a 4-1 defeat to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
