Newport County AFC will take on Sky Bet Championship side Swansea City at Rodney Parade in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie is scheduled to be played over the weekend of Saturday 5th September, meaning it will be County's first competitive fixture of the 2020/21 campaign.
The Exiles, who were ball number 21 in today's draw, were placed in the southern section.
70 out of the 72 EFL clubs will take part in the first round, with Sky Bet Championship duo AFC Bournemouth and Watford entering the competition in the second round.
Michael Flynn's men reached the second round of the competition last season, falling to a 2-0 defeat against Premier League side West Ham United at Rodney Parade.
County will kick off their Sky Bet League Two campaign on the following weekend.
