LOAN WATCH | Check up on how NCAFC's loanees got on this weekend!

4 February 2020

Take a look at how County's loanees faired this weekend at their respective Clubs...

Marvel Ekpiteta was on the scoresheet as Ebbsfleet United drew 1-1 with Sutton United in the National League.

The defender, on his 20th appearance for ‘Fleet, rose highest to an Adam Mekki free kick and glanced a header into the net to give his side the perfect start.

Harry Beautyman levelled the score in the second half to ensure both sides took a share of the spoils.

Corey Whitely was also in action but couldn’t prevent a 2-1 defeat for 10-man Bromley at FC Halifax Town.

Niall Maher opened the scoring for the hosts shortly after Jack Holland’s red card. Devante Rodney doubled the advantage before Joseph Kizzi pulled one back before the break, which proved to be a consolation.

Dom Poleon enjoyed a winning start to his spell at Dover Athletic with a 2-0 triumph over Stockport County.

The striker started the game on the bench but was introduced just after the hour mark. A brace from Inih Effiong was enough to seal all three points.

In the National League South, Jay Foulston’s Chippenham Town suffered a 5-1 loss at the hands of 10-man Dartford.

Callum Gunner found the net for the Bluebirds but two Darren McQueen spot-kicks, a Liam Nash strike, a Will Puddy own goal and an effort from Amrit Bansal-McNulty, who was also sent off, led Dartford to glory.

Dom Jefferies kept his place in the Salisbury XI in their 2-2 draw with Tiverton Town. They had to come from behind with Dan Fitchett and Ollie Knowles cancelling out the earlier strikes from Alex Fletcher and Jordan Bastin.

Elsewhere, Tom Wright played his part as Clevedon Town drew 3-3 with Bridgwater Town, Elis Watts made his full debut as Bristol Manor Farm edged past Thatcham Town 2-1 and Callum Jones was part of the Slimbridge side that were beaten 4-1 by Bideford.
