The details of Newport County AFC’s Carabao Cup first round tie against Ipswich Town have been confirmed.
The Exiles will head to Portman Road to take on the Sky Bet League One side on Tuesday 10th August, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.
County reached the fourth round of the competition for the first time in the club’s history last term, beating Swansea City, Cambridge United and Watford before a penalty shootout defeat against Newcastle United.
Michael Flynn’s side kick off their 2021/22 Sky Bet League Two campaign three days earlier against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.
