Newport County AFC are delighted to announce First Choice Utilities as the back of away shirt partner for the 2021-22 season.
First Choice Utilities is returning as a sponsor for a second season after a successful partnership during the 2020-21 season. When the pandemic hit and the bulk of the firms they dealt with closed, First Choice Utilities, an independent renewable energy consultancy, had to look at alternative options to grow their business.
The initial agreement was set out with measurable objectives, and First Choice Utilities is returning with a larger sponsorship and exploring ways to support the local community after the success. First Choice Utilities sought to educate more businesses about renewable, green, and sustainable energy. They discovered that by using the channel provided by the Newport County AFC, they were able to do so on a much larger scale.
Anthony Anderson, Director and Co-Owner at First Choice Utilities said: “This is a huge step forward for us and our partnership with the club. Over the course of the previous season, the alliance grew naturally, and we share several ideals with the football club. We are actively investing in our company, and the visibility and credibility we will acquire as a result of our relationship will undoubtedly help us achieve our objectives.
“Seeing our company emblem on the away shirt next year after it appeared on the shorts the previous season is a huge step forward in our efforts to expand, and we aim to leverage our partnership with the club to make a difference in the Newport community.”
