FAQs | Sky Bet League Two play-off final

Newport County AFC has provided a number of FAQs for supporters ahead of Monday’s Sky Bet League Two play-off final against Morecambe.

Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions on your match ticket prior to attending the fixture on Monday.

  1. What time can I access the stadium?

Hospitality doors open from 12:00pm and general admission turnstiles open from 1pm. A reminder that the game is a 3pm kick-off, with plenty of build-up to catch before the game.

  1. Do I need a COVID test to be allowed into the stadium?

Proof of a negative COVID test is not a condition of entry. However, Wembley Stadium supports the Government's advice to get tested twice weekly to offer the safest environment to our guests. Find out more here.

  1. Do I need a face mask to access the stadium?

Face coverings must be worn at all times when entering the stadium and throughout the duration of the game.

  1. What else do I need to bring and do on the day?

In addition to your face covering, please ensure you have your printed ticket. All supporters are reminded to check their general health before travelling – as ever, if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, please stay home and follow Public Health advice.

  1. Are there coaches running to the stadium?

Newport County Official Supporters' Club is running coaches to Wembley. More information on these coaches can be found here.

Supporters making independent journeys to Wembley are reminded to follow Public Health guidelines to ensure we all play our part in maintaining a safe environment for all supporters.

  1. Do I need to print my match ticket?

Yes, supporters are reminded that match tickets must be printed in advance of matchday and ready to hand when approaching the relevant turnstile.

  1. Can I sit somewhere alternative to my ticket?

No, the club has now sold out its allocation of tickets and there are no unallocated seats remaining.

  1. Can I purchase alcohol inside the stadium?

Due to current Government regulations, there will be no alcohol on sale in the concourses.

  1. Can I bring food & drink into the stadium?

Food is not permitted to be taken into the stadium. However, a range of food and beverages are available to purchase.

  1. Can I pay with cash inside the stadium?

No, Wembley Stadium is completely cashless and therefore only card payments will be accepted.

  1. Can I purchase an official matchday programme?

Programmes for the fixture are available for purchase on the day. Please note that there are no retail sales inside the stadium, and programmes are only available outside the stadium (pre and post-match).

  1. Can I bring a flag into the stadium?

Flags are permitted within the stadium. Please check your flag complies with stadium regulations here.

  1. Can I smoke inside the stadium?

No, smoking or use of e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere within the stadium.
