2022-23 Season Ticket information

Newport County AFC is delighted to announce ticket prices for the forthcoming 2022/23 season along with details of the launch of season ticket sales.

To arrive at this season’s prices the club has undertaken detailed analysis of ticket prices of clubs within EFL League 2.

In addition, it has considered the impact on supporters of the increase in the cost of living, while noting that the club is not exempt from these difficulties. 

The club has held its prices for the last four seasons, during which season ticket holders have benefitted from nine ‘free games’ every year. 

Taking all these factors into consideration, the following decisions have been made:

  • Adult season ticket holders will now enjoy eight free games as opposed to nine. This means that 2022/23 season ticket prices will increase by the cost of one match – i.e. £22 for a seated ticket and £20 standing.
  • All other season ticket prices will be held at 2021/22 prices – this includes Seniors and all Junior age groups. 
  • Match day ticket prices will be frozen for a fifth season across all categories. 
  • 100 club prices will remain at 2021-22 level.
  • Hospitality prices will remain at 2021-22 level.
  • Hospitality box prices will remain at 2021-22 level, following an increase in the previous season.

The club remains committed to assisting supporters in meeting the cost-of-living challenges wherever possible and will therefore once again be offering the option to purchase season tickets via four “interest-free” instalments payable 1st on application, 2nd 1st September 3rd 1st November and 4th 1st January.

Simply download the form and either fill it in electronically and email it to ticket.office@newport-county.co.uk or fill it in using pen or pencil and bring it the ticket office at Rodney Parade.

We believe that this new pricing schedule means that we continue to remain competitive compared with other clubs in our division whilst helping to establish a competitive playing budget.

When will Season tickets go on sale?

Season Tickets will go on sale from 12 pm on Monday 13th June

 How can I purchase? 

 There are multiple ways to purchase:

Online

in person at Rodney Parade ticket office or

by telephone on 01633 302012.

 How can I access the “Interest Free” instalment option?

If you wish to take advantage of the instalment option, you will need to complete the application form which can be found here

Is there a window for me to purchase the same seat as I did last year? 

 Yes. Your seat will be retained until 9am on 4th July

  1. When can I apply for my season ticket?

Season ticket for the 2022/23 season can be purchased from 12 pm on Monday 13th June. Please note, both renewals and new purchases can be made at this point with 2021/22 Season Tickets holders retaining the option to renew their seat from the 2021/22 season until 9am on Monday 4th July. 

  1. What are the categories of season tickets?

Ticket categories remain the same as previous seasons with rates for Adults, Seniors (60+), Young Adults (16-21), Under 16’s, Under 12’s and Under 6’s.

*The Club reserve the right to request each Season Ticket holder provides proof of identification in the form of a Driving License, Passport or valid Photo ID Card at point of purchase and upon entry to the Stadium footprint.  

**Please note that supporters under the age of 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

  1. What other benefits do I receive from purchasing a season ticket?
  • Option to retain your assigned seat for Cup Matches – subject to availability. 
  • Option to retain your assigned seat for subsequential campaigns. 
  • 10% Club Shop discount (In Store Only). 

Purchasing your Season Ticket 

  1. Where can I purchase my Season Ticket?
  • Online – Online is the quickest and easiest way to renew your Season Membership. The online ticketing store can be accessed
  • Over the Phone – Please call us on 01633 302012. 
  • In Person- at the Stadium Ticket Office at Rodney Parade. 
  1. Are there different payment options?

Yes, there are. Again, the club is conscious of the current economic climate and support fans are shown throughout the pandemic and want to show it’s appreciation. Options are as follows: 

  • Payment in full 
  • Four instalment payments (interest free) with payments due on the following dates: 
  • On Application. 
  • 1st September 2022 
  • 1st November 2022 
  • 1st January 2023 

Please note if you wish to utilise the instalment option you will need to submit an application form and apply in person or by post.

  1. How long is my seat reserved for?

Seated Season Ticket Holders for the 2021/22 Season have until 9am on Monday 4th July to renew their Seats.  

  1. Will I receive a physical ticket as in previous seasons?

You can receive a season ticket card as previously or if you prefer a digital E-ticket which can be scanned from your phone. 

Season Tickets will be posted out prior to the First Home game of the Season. Please note, there is a £2.00 postage fee per order.  We will in due course make supporters aware of the arrangements. 

Online Ticket Master Account 

  1. How do I create my Ticket Master Network?

All 2021/22 Season Ticket Holders will be emailed with instructions on how to activate their account. Other supporters can create an account by clicking here and following the option to register. 

  1. What happens if I am a 2021/22 Season Ticket Holder and didn’t receive an email?

Firstly, check your “Junk Mail” or “Clutter” folders in your inbox and search for ticket.office@newport-county.co.uk If you have not still received the required e-mail, please contact the club via email or by telephone 01633 302012 and we will resolve the issue. 

  1. Can I renew more than one Season Ticket on my account?

Yes, you will be able to renew or purchase Season Memberships of friends/family by linking your accounts together via e-ticketing. 

You can add family members and friends to your network by following the steps below: 

  1. Click here and sign-in to your online ticketing account. 
  2. On your account screen, click ‘my network’. 
  3. Click ‘search existing’ and add the customer number and surname of your family member or friend. 
  4. Click ‘select’ to add them to your network.

  1. What does adding to my Network mean?

When you add a friend to your network, you are automatically added to your friend's network at the same time. At this stage you can both purchase tickets on the other’s behalf. 

  1. Why should I add friends/family to My Network?

    Adding Friends and Family to your network enables you to Assign and Manage privileges, which in turn allows to confirm reservations, renew Season Tickets, and purchase priority tickets on their behalf. 

 
Can I edit permissions in my Network?

Yes, click on the drop-down arrow next to the name of the person you want to manage and you will be able to edit ticket privileges or remove the member from your network. 

14.1. Editing Ticket Privileges 

Supporters can have two levels of ticket privileges. You can either Assign or Manage your friends’ tickets and they can either Assign or Manage yours. 
To find out what privileges you have on your friends account, and what privileges they have on yours, click on their name on the “My Network” Page. 

Where it says “Me”; 

  1. If it says, “I can ASSIGN tickets to XX”, then you can only buy tickets for that person. 
  2. If it says, “I can MANAGE tickets for XX”, then you can buy tickets for that person, pay for their reserved seats in cup games, and renew their Season Ticket for them. 

Where it says their name; 

  1. If it says, “XX can assign tickets to me”, then they can only 
    buy tickets for you. 
  2. If it says, “XX can manage tickets for me”, then they can buy tickets for you, pay for your reserved seats in cup games, and 
    renew your Season Ticket for you. 
  3. Edit your privileges
     
  4. Click where is says edit next to either your name or your friends name. 
  5. To edit your privileges on your friend’s account. Choose one 
    of the two tick boxes: “I can assign tickets to XX” or “I can manage tickets for XX”. 
  6. The Assign option is ticked by default. If you can currently manage your friends account and you want to change to assign only, simply click the Assign box. 
  7. If you click Manage – a request will be sent to your friends registered email address, they will have to accept your request to manage their account by logging into their own account and accepting your request. 
  8. Edit your friend’s privileges on your account.
     
  9. Choose one of the two tick boxes: “XX can assign tickets me” 
    or “XX can Manage tickets for me”. 
  10. The Assign option is ticked by default. If your friend can currently manage your account and you want to change to assign only, simply click the Assign Box. 
  11. If you click Manage then your friend will be given the privileges to manage your account from the next time they log in. 
  12. What happens if games have to be played behind closed doors?

In this event, subject to the approval of the governing body (EFL), the Club would provide streaming for league home games. 

 

Disabled Supporters & Carers Tickets  

  1. I am a disabled fan how do I get my season ticket?

Disabled supporters (Proof of Medium-High living disability allowance or equivalent PIP award) may renew tickets through any the purchase methods outline. 

All new Disabled applicants are encouraged to ring the Club direct on 01633 302012 or visit in person to the Stadium Ticketing Office. 

  1. How do I get a carers season ticket?

Carer tickets are available for those individuals providing care to a qualifying disabled Season Ticket Holder as defined above. They may also renew/purchase their as outlined above.
