As the 2022-23 season is only 74 days away and counting, we wanted to share with supporters what we will be communicating and how we will be engaging through the close season.
May
We have focussed on our scholar and professional contracts that have been offered and accepted.
For the rest of the month we will cover pre-season for the first team, our approach and fixtures, a new ticketing system, Rodney Parade pitch works; and a focus on retail.
June
The month will cover a raft of subjects; focus on our wonderful volunteers as part of volunteer week; Academy pre-season; launch of season tickets for 22/23; focus on Academy coaches to recognise coaching week; first team players return to training; AGMs for both the Trust and the Club; sponsor evening; launch of the home kit for 22/23 season and then to end the month a “meet the manager” and open meeting evening.
July
This month will see our pre-season friendlies commence with our normal media coverage; there will be 2 open training sessions, one for Clwb Spytty members and the other for Silver Trust members and above (as per their package); season ticket deliveries by the players to supporters; further sponsor evening; first team squad photoshoot; website update; Away kit launch and finally the first game of the 22/23 season!
Of course the above will have all new signings that we will be making along with weekly interviews with the first-team manager James Rowberry, academy manager Damien Broad, sporting director Darren Kelly and myself.
As with all best laid plans they are subject to change but we wanted to share “top level” our activity for the close season.
