'Tinty and the Bucket Hats' are on a mission to raise funds to enable every child in the Newport area to receive a Kidscape anti-bullying workshop by 2023.
Sadly, bullying can take young lives, and have a significant impact on mental health and wellbeing well into adulthood. At least one child in every class is bullied every day, with up to 16,000 children absent from school due to bullying. Those with a perceived difference are up to four times as likely to be targeted by bullying behaviour.
Kidscape have been an official charity partner of Newport County AFC since 2020, and provide hope and help to thousands of young people and their families every year. You too can be part of a community who are committed to taking positive action together. To help you can choose to donate £5 by texting TINTY to 70580.
