Latest News on Rodney Parade Pitch
After an initial pitch inspection by the match referee at 9:00am it was agreed that subject to no further rain falling on the pitch then every chance should be made to ensure the match goes ahead.The ground-staff have been working hard late into last night and were in early this morning to continue their efforts in making the pitch playable.
The match referee will return at 12:30pm and assuming conditions have not deteriorated the game should go ahead.
