Kick It Out Matchday

17 April 2015

Newport County will be showing their support to the Kick It Out campaign during tomorrow's game.

Tomorrow's visit of Dagenham & Redbridge will see Newport County display it's support for the Kick Racism Out Of Football campaign.

As part of the campaign, Newport players took part in a Kick It Out workshop following today's training session. The workshop was run by Paul Mortimer who is the Professional Player Engagement Manager at Kick It Out.

Paul works with current and former professional footballers to bring them closer to the activities facilitated by Kick It Out. A core part of his role involves gaining a better understanding of the real issues affecting players and allowing them to feed into the delivery of the campaign’s future strategies.

Newport County players will wear Kick It Out t-shirts ahead of tomorrow's game to help raise awareness.

If any supporter attending Rodney Parade, or any other football ground witnesses any incident of discrimination in football, they can report the incident here.
